VBUG Presentation

I am a Technical Evangelist for Developer Express, my work blog is here but this one is more fun. :-)

Well I gave my presentation on Web Client Software Factory today at the VBUG conference. It went okay, but there were more questions along the way than I had anticipated and that meant the demo was a little rushed. We'll just have to see how it went down once the feedback is in - I'll let you know. Next up its DDD6

That's good (for me) it means when I get to see it at DDD6 you'll be more polished.

Well, now you know what the audience is interested in you can focus more on those aspects - that's what I mean by "polished". It is something that you can't really find out until you put it before an audience.

Very true Colin, though I picked up a good tip from Guy Smith-Ferrier; he puts up his agenda then asks the audience where they want to spend time. Good idea and I'll be using this in the future.

Well, it looks like you are doing a different session at DDD so we'll just have to discuss getting you along to present this in Scotland some time. Hmmmm... I wonder when would be a good time... Naaa... I can't wait that long. Are you putting this on in Dundee at any time? Or shall I have to invite you to Glasgow?
