This post by
James Robertson (product evangelist for
Cincom Smalltalk) explains where they have gotten to in seven years of development of their new UI framework and well, it looks like they've gotten nowhere. It makes me nervous to see such a big player in my beloved Smalltalk's field make bad strategic decisions like this. :-(
