If you are installing the Composite UI Application Block under Vista, you will probably find that the install will fail after an "unspecified error creating solution files" error. The installation will then roll back.
To fix this, turn off the User Account Control in the Control Panel -> Users applet (see image below). Microsoft recommends that you run with UAC turned on, so don't forget to re-enable it after your installation completes. :-)
