That script is the build process for a specific application. You can shorten that down quite a bit for a simple app. I do recognize that it's more complex than it needs to be, and we should have a better process out this winter.

On the other hand, have you looked at the makefile for any decent sized C language family program recently?

Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad to hear this is going to be sorted out in the winter release and look forward to seeing it. I take the point about make files but there are tools around to help you manage this, Smalltalk needs that kind of solution too. Might be something for the communtiy, something like Nant for Smalltalk would do the trick
